What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
Age 5 piano, age 7 violin, age 15 viola

Why did you choose the instrument you play?
I liked the more mellow sound of the viola compared to the violin.

Who is your favorite composer, and favorite work? Why?
Brahms for his sound, and Bartok for his creativity.

How many years have you been performing with Symphony in C?
The 2007-2008 Season will be my second year playing with the orchestra.

What’s your favorite part about playing in Symphony in C?
Everything just seems to come together.  Rossen is a captivating leader, and everyone listens to each other, which is a great thing!

Where do you aspire to be in ten years? And what do you plan to do?
A member of a professional orchestra.

What are you currently listening to on your I-pod?
I don’t have an I-pod – I prefer live music

What other interests outside of music do you share, if any?
I enjoy discovering the Baltimore art scene with my boyfriend who is a painter.
