What age did you begin playing a musical instrument? 6 years old
Why did you choose the instrument you play? I didn’t. The music school in Albania simply saw me as fit to play the cello
Who is your favorite composer, and favorite work? Why? It is hard for me to decide, but Mozart would be it if I had to pick one. And I don’t know why. I just like his music.
How many years have you been performing with Symphony in C? The 2008-2009 season serves as my second year with the orchestra.
What’s your favorite part about playing in Symphony in C? Playing with talented musicians my age.
Where do you aspire to be in ten years? And what do you plan to do? I like to see myself as a member of a major orchestra. I also plan on arranging all sorts of music for the cello.
What are you currently listening to on your I-pod? I-pod? I’m still on CD’s, and I’ve been listening to the Beatles, and I don’t know when I’ll stop.
What other interests outside of music do you share, if any? Soccer, books and wine.
