What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
I began to play the viola when I was 8 years old.
Why did you choose the instrument you play?
I chose to play the viola do to my height. I was tall for my age and the strings teacher needed more students to play the viola. Everyone wanted to play the violin, so I thought I would try the viola.
Who is your favorite composer, and favorite work? Why?
I have so many! My favorite composers are Brahms, Beethoven, Strauss and Bach.
How many years have you been performing with Symphony in C?
I have been performing with The Symphony for four years.
What’s your favorite part about playing in Symphony in C?
My favorite part about playing with the symphony is working under the conductor Rossen Milanov. I learn something new every rehearsal and look forward to working with the other musicians.
Where do you aspire to be in ten years? And what do you plan to do?
In ten years I hope to be playing professionally with an orchestra. I also hope to continue teaching young children and enjoy making wonderful music.

Classical music
What other interests outside of music do you share, if any?
I enjoy running.
