What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
3 years old

Why did you choose the instrument you play?
I started on violin but I had no friends doing it, and with the bass, it was easier to be involved in other styles of music, such as jazz and rock. I was less solitary playing those styles of music, and playing with people who were more my peers than in orchestra.

Who is your favorite composer, and favorite work? Why?
Sorry.

How many years have you been performing with Symphony in C?
1 year

What’s your favorite part about playing in Symphony in C?
Playing good repertoire with people my age who can be as excited about it as I am.

Where do you aspire to be in ten years? And what do you plan to do?
I’m not sure, maybe playing in a symphony and in a new acoustic/bluegrass group.

What are you currently listening to on your I-pod?

A lot! I-pods hold so much music, it’s insane.

What other interests outside of music do you share, if any?
I enjoy the outdoors and outdoor activities such as running, biking, and soccer. I also enjoy hanging out with good friends.
