What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
4 years old – Piano, 9 years old – Violin

Why did you choose the instrument you play?

My mom actually chose the piano for me, and the Experimental Music Class that I attended when I was nine chose the violin for me as my secondary instrument. I didn’t have chance to make up my mind until 9th grade. Then I really fell in love with the violin-- its technique and sound just fascinate me.

Who is your favorite composer, and favorite work? Why?
Johannes Brahms, Symphony No.1-4. All are just beautiful and one will never get tired of listening to it.

How many years have you been performing with Symphony in C?
6 years

What’s your favorite part about playing in Symphony in C?

Wonderful musicians and great repertoire.

Where do you aspire to be in ten years? And what do you plan to do?
I would like to be in a professional orchestra and/or chamber group.  Playing orchestra music is just very upifting to me.

What other interests outside of music do you share, if any?
Cooking, babysitting, reading, meeting new people and traveling.
